Sir Max Hugh Macdonald Hastings FRSL FRHistS (* 28. Dezember 1945) ist ein britischer Journalist und Militärhistoriker, der als Auslandskorrespondent für die BBC, Chefredakteur des Daily Telegraph und Herausgeber des Evening Standard gearbeitet hat. Er ist auch Autor zahlreicher Bücher, hauptsächlich zum Thema Krieg, die mit mehreren bedeutenden Preisen ausgezeichnet wurden.
