Christopher Golden (geb. 15. Juli 1967) ist ein US-amerikanischer Autor von Horror-, Fantasy- und Suspense-Romanen für Erwachsene und Jugendliche.
Golden ist in Massachusetts geboren und aufgewachsen, wo er immer noch mit seiner Familie lebt.
Er absolvierte die Tufts University
Neben Romanen hat Golden Comics und Videospiele geschrieben und zusammen mit der Schauspielerin/Autorin/Regisseurin Amber Benson die Online-Animationsserie Ghosts of Albion geschrieben.
Er war Co-Autor und Co-Autor der Dark-Horse-Comics-Serie „Baltimore“ mit Mike Mignola und schrieb die Einleitung zu Joe Hills Kurzgeschichtenbuch mit dem Titel „20th Century Ghosts“, das jetzt nur noch 200 Exemplare im Schuber zum Sammeln hat.
Er hat auch zahlreiche Horror- und Dark-Fantasy-Fiction-Anthologien herausgegeben.
Golden arbeitete am Drehbuch für Hellboy, einem Reboot-Film, der auf Mignolas Comicserie Hellboy basiert, obwohl er letztendlich nicht im Abspann stand.
