David Rothery ist Professor für planetare Geowissenschaften an der Open University, wo er ein Level-2-Modul Planetary Science and the Search for Life und ein Level-1-Modul Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsunamis leitet. Er ist Mitglied des Senats der Open University.
