Fatiha Morchid (born March 14, 1958, Ben Slimane, Morocco) is a Moroccan poet and novelist, holder of a doctorate in medicine in 1985 and a diploma in pediatrics in 1990. She supervised the preparation and presentation of a health education program on the Moroccan Channel Two for several years. She also supervised the "Poetry Moment" segment in the cultural program "Diwan" on the same channel. She is a member of the Moroccan Writers Union. She won the Morocco Prize for Poetry in 2011. She participated in poetry readings in several cultural forums inside and outside Morocco. Some of her works have been translated into French, English, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Danish, German and Swedish. Her books: - Poetry: “Gestures”: (Poetry) - House of Culture - Casablanca, 2002.
