Sergei Viktorovich Nurtazin is a modern Russian writer, poet, translator of poetry from the languages ​​of the peoples of Russia, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia. Born in 1966 in the village of Balykshi, Guryev region (now Atyrau) Kazakhstan. In 1985 he graduated from the Guryev Marine Fisheries Technical School as a technician-technologist of the fishing industry. For 4 years he worked on fishing vessels at the Trawl Fleet Base in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, then for 4 years at the Guryev Oil Refinery, after which he moved to Astrakhan, where he has been working for Astrakhangazstroy LLC for 19 years. His mother and grandmother instilled love for literature in Sergei. In his student years, he wrote poetry, and then became interested in historical prose. However, the first book by Sergei Nurtazin was a book for children published in Astrakhan, where he collected all the fairy tales that his grandmother once told him. The debut of Sergei Viktorovich in adult fiction took place in 2010 with the release of the book "The Russian Legion of Constantinople". The novel became a bestseller, and the writer continued to work. Over the years of creativity he created the works “Sarmatians. Victories of Our Ancestors ”,“ Frontier Cossack.
