Fathi Muhammad Ahmed Abu Ayanah received a professorship in 1981, and had a major role in academic and administrative work. He directed a number of research and scientific books in the field of specialization (human geography). State Appreciation Award in Social Sciences in 2014 from the Supreme Council of Culture.
