ذلك السر الأعظم..

الذي يُخفي أكثر مما يظهر..

يمكن أن يكون عشقاً أو هلاكاً لكل من غاص في أعماقه أو حتى طفا على سطحه..

يحفظ أسراره بقوة كأم ممسكة بطفلها الوحيد..

لكن هذا الطفل يتفلت من وقت لآخر من يدها القابضة ليَكشِف لنا بعض خبايا أمه..

لج حورية بحر صغيرة ترعرعت في كنف سلحفاة تدعى (طيمة)، لج فضولية جدًا ، تكره الحياة الفضولية التي تعيشها في الوادي المرجان السحيق. فكانت في كل ليلة تخوض مغامرات صغيرة محفوفة بالمخاطر ،رغم تحذيرات طيمة المستمرة لها، حيث كانت تهوى الخروج إلى السطح ، و الاستمتاع بضوء القمر. وفي أحد الأيام عادت من السطح برفقة صديقها موج ، و فجعت بكارثة حلت بالوادي، حيث قام قرش أبيض بمهاجمة الوادي و افتراس الكثير من حيواناته بما فيهم طيمة. انحبس كل من لج و موج في سرداب مظم فترة من الزمن ، إلى أن توصلت لج إلى طريقة للخروج من السرداب عبر جمع طوق من اللؤلؤ الأسود يحيط بعنق تمثال يشبهها. وما إن خرجا من السرداب إلى النور حتى بدءآ مغامرة جديدة ، اكتشفت من خلالها لج نفسها من جديد. تلتقي بمارج الاخطبوط الذي يكشف لها أنها أميرة البحار السبعة و أن عليها التخلص من حكم الغرانيق ، عبر إبطال سحر ما طال جميع شعبها. تذهب في مغامرتها وحيدة ، حيث تتعرض للكثير من الأحداث الشيقة.
