Raymond Douglas "Ray" Bradbury, nacido el 22 de agosto de 1920 - fallecido el 5 de junio de 2012, fue un escritor y guionista estadounidense. Escribió en varios campos de la literatura, como fantasía, ciencia ficción, terror y misterio.
Entre sus obras más famosas se encuentran la novela distópica Fahrenheit 451 (1953), y sus colecciones de ciencia ficción y terror, y Historias marcianas (1950).
