Christopher Golden (nacido el 15 de julio de 1967) es un autor estadounidense de novelas de terror, fantasía y suspenso para adultos y adolescentes.
Golden nació y creció en Massachusetts, donde aún vive con su familia.
Se graduó de la Universidad de Tufts
Además de novelas, Golden ha escrito cómics y videojuegos, y coescribió la serie animada en línea Ghosts of Albion con la actriz, escritora y directora Amber Benson.
Co-creó y co-escribió la serie de Dark Horse Comics Baltimore con Mike Mignola y escribió la introducción a la ahora coleccionable, solo 200 copias, edición en estuche del libro de cuentos de Joe Hill titulado 20th Century Ghosts.
También ha editado numerosas antologías de ficción de terror y fantasía oscura.
Golden trabajó en el guión de Hellboy , una película de reinicio basada en la serie de cómics Hellboy de Mignola , aunque finalmente no fue acreditado.
