También es Eur Ing por FEANI-Bruselas y Fellow (FIET) del IET-Londres. Actualmente, es Profesor del Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad de Aveiro, Portugal. También es distinguido como profesor honorario en varias universidades/colegios. Tiene más de 30 años de experiencia docente e investigadora en Manufactura, Materiales, Ingeniería Mecánica e Industrial, con especial énfasis en Mecanizado y Tribología.
