Reza Aslan ( persa : رضا اصلان , nacido el 3 de mayo de 1972) es un académico iraní-estadounidense de sociología de la religión, escritor y presentador de televisión. Convertido al cristianismo evangélico del Islam chiíta cuando era joven, Aslan finalmente volvió al Islam pero continuó escribiendo sobre el cristianismo. Ha escrito cuatro libros sobre religión: No God but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam, Beyond Fundamentalism: Confronting Religious Extremism in the Age of Globalization, Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, and God: A Historia humana.
