Tomás de Aquino (monje dominicano) (1225 - 1274) fue un sacerdote católico italiano y santo de la Orden Dominicana, y un filósofo y teólogo influyente dentro de la tradición escolástica. Uno de los treinta y tres maestros de la Iglesia, conocido como el mundo angélico (Doctor Angelicus) y el mundo circundante (Doctor Universalis).
