Christina Latham-Koenig comenzó su carrera en TEFL en 1976, enseñando en International House y luego en el British Council, tanto en España (Valencia) como en el Reino Unido. Obtuvo una distinción en el Diploma RSA en 1987 y luego se convirtió en supervisora local de este curso en España. Ha trabajado como formadora de profesores de inglés tanto nativos como no nativos. Ahora vive en Valencia y empezó a colaborar como coautora de la serie English File en 1995.
