Paul Seligson ha estado involucrado en TEFL durante más de 30 años y es conocido mundialmente por dar charlas y sesiones de capacitación animadas y muy prácticas. Ha impartido clases en Argelia, Francia, Egipto, Venezuela, Brasil, Argentina, Turquía, México, Reino Unido y España, donde pasó 5 años como ADOS en el British Council de Valencia. También creó y dirigió su propia escuela de idiomas en Brighton y tiene una amplia experiencia en todos los niveles de gestión escolar.
Con maestría en TEFL y evaluador de CELTA, sus numerosas publicaciones primarias, secundarias y para adultos incluyen Helping Students to Speak for the Richmond Teacher's Handbook Series, que también edita, English File (OUP), English Teacher's Portfolio (British Council, Brasil), Essential English 1-5 y Kids' Web (ambos en Richmond). En total, ha publicado más de 40 libros, junto con decenas de artículos en revistas internacionales. Ha capacitado a docentes en cuatro continentes, impartido cursos COTE, DOTE, CELTA, DELTA, FTBE, de grado y posgrado y dictado cientos de sesiones de conferencias en todo el mundo, en inglés, español, francés y portugués. También ha realizado trabajos de consultoría en decenas de universidades de Europa, África del Norte, Asia Occidental y Central y América Latina, y ha establecido programas de observación en España, Turquía y México. Más recientemente, ha estado involucrado en la capacitación de maestros de escuelas estatales en todo Brasil.

We Can Do It! takes an action-oriented approach concerned with learning language in order to achieve real-world outcomes. It gives students a clear goal for their learning and allows them to assess the extent to which they meet the goal.
You can. activities, My progress self- assessment sections, Self-Check tests and self-evaluation pages and My grammar progress self-assessment sections provide varied instances of evaluation to foster student’s autonomy and a sense of achievement, contributing to their motivation and self-esteem.
Special attention is paid to the cultural aspects implicit in language learning through the stories that highlight the aspects of the culture of the English-speaking world, My Culture Dossier section and six culture worksheets which provide further cultural information relevant to the topics addressed in the units.
There are special optional sections with additional practice suitable for KET and Trinity exams.

Tests are designed in two different levels of difficulty: standard and challenging and in two versions: A and B, for students sitting in different rows.
Four Worksheets per unit include activities for the reinforcement of functions and extension in reading, writing and vocabulary.
