Dr.. Haifa Basil Bitar, écrivain et romancier syrien. Elle travaille comme spécialiste en ophtalmologie et en chirurgie et travaille à l'hôpital gouvernemental de Lattakia et dans sa clinique privée. Le médecin est né dans la ville de Lattaquié en 1960. Elle est également membre de l'Association de l'histoire et du roman en Syrie. Il a une prolifique production narrative et de fiction.
