Wesley Sanders est actuellement professeur adjoint au Salt Lake Community College. Il donne des cours en nanotechnologie, science des matériaux, chimie et microscopie. Alors qu'il était professeur adjoint, il a publié des articles dans le Journal of Chemical Education décrivant les laboratoires de premier cycle à utiliser dans les cours d'introduction à la nanotechnologie.
