Christopher Golden (né le 15 juillet 1967) est un auteur américain de romans d'horreur, de fantasy et de suspense pour adultes et adolescents.
Golden est né et a grandi dans le Massachusetts, où il vit toujours avec sa famille.
Il est diplômé de l'Université Tufts
En plus des romans, Golden a écrit des bandes dessinées et des jeux vidéo, et a co-écrit la série animée en ligne Ghosts of Albion avec l'actrice/scénariste/réalisatrice Amber Benson.
Il a co-créé et co-écrit la série Dark Horse Comics Baltimore avec Mike Mignola et a écrit l'introduction de l'édition désormais à collectionner, à 200 exemplaires seulement, du livre de nouvelles de Joe Hill intitulé 20th Century Ghosts.
Il a également édité de nombreuses anthologies de fiction d'horreur et de dark fantasy.
Golden a travaillé sur le scénario de Hellboy , un film de redémarrage basé sur la série de bandes dessinées Hellboy de Mignola , bien qu'il n'ait finalement pas été crédité.
