Russell Stannard est un physicien des particules de haute énergie à la retraite, né à Londres, en Angleterre, le 24 décembre 1931. En 1986, il a reçu le prix Templeton pour « des contributions significatives dans le domaine des valeurs spirituelles ; en particulier pour leurs contributions à une meilleure compréhension de la science et de la religion ».
