Dodson, né à Londres le 11 septembre 1962, a étudié à la Langley Grammar School (1975-1981), avant de déménager au Collingwood College, Durham (1981-2). This book presents a concise account of the lives and times of some of the more significant occupants of the Egyptian throne, from the unification of the country around 3000 bc down to the extinction of native rule just under three millennia later.
