Albert Einstein (14 marzo 1879 - 18 aprile 1955) è stato un fisico tedesco, svizzero e americano, di genitori ebrei.In Fisica, ha pubblicato un articolo di ricerca sull'effetto fotoelettrico, tra trecento altri articoli scientifici di lui nell'equivalenza di materia ed energia, meccanica quantistica e altri, e le sue comprovate conclusioni hanno portato all'interpretazione di molti fenomeni scientifici che la fisica classica non è riuscita a dimostrare. Einstein iniziò con la "relatività speciale" che contraddiceva la teoria newtoniana del tempo e dello spazio per risolvere in particolare i problemi della vecchia teoria sulle onde elettromagnetiche in generale, e la luce in particolare, e cioè tra (1902-1909) in Svizzera. Quanto alla "relatività generale", la propose nel 1915, in cui discuteva della gravità, e rappresenta l'attuale descrizione della gravità nella fisica moderna. La relatività generale generalizza sia la relatività speciale che la legge di gravitazione universale di Newton, fornendo una descrizione unificata della gravità come proprietà geometrica dello spazio e del tempo, o spaziotempo.
