Doktorasını (Mikrobiyoloji) Meerut'taki Chaudhary Charan Singh Üniversitesi'nden aldı ve bunun için Yaşam Bilimleri Okulu, Jawaharlal Nehru Üniversitesi (JNU), Yeni Delhi'de deneysel çalışma yaptı. Yüksek Lisansını Yaşam Bilimleri Okulu, JNU, Yeni Delhi'de yaptı ve CSIR-NET, GATE ve ASRB-NET'e sahip oldu. Uluslararası ve ulusal düzeyde araştırma makaleleri ve kitap bölümlerini içeren yetmiş beş yayını vardır. Ayrıca yayınlanmış veya beklemede olan beş patenti vardır ve üç kitabın yazarı/editörüdür. Dr Prasad on iki yıllık araştırma ve dokuz yıllık öğretim deneyimine sahiptir. Genç Bilim Adamı Ödülü ve Prof JS Datta Munshi Altın Madalyası ile ödüllendirildi. Ayrıca, Society for Applied Biotechnology tarafından Mikrobiyal Biyoteknoloji alanında FSAB bursu ile ödüllendirilmiştir. Son zamanlarda, Amerikan Kanser Derneği UICC International Fellowships for Acemi Investigators (2014) ile ödüllendirilmiştir ve şu anda ABD Johns Hopkins Üniversitesi, Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü Whiting Mühendislik Okulu'nda Misafir Yardımcı Doçent olarak görev yapmaktadır.

This book explores the role of in silico deployment in connection with modulation techniques for improving sustainability and competitiveness in the agri-food sector; pharmacokinetics and molecular docking studies of plant-derived natural compounds; and their potential anti-neurodegenerative activity.
