Lynn Picknett, esas olarak sahte tarih ve popüler komplo teorileri, paranormal, okült ve tarihi ve dini gizemler hakkında kitapların yazarıdır.
Nisan 1947'de Folkestone, Kent, İngiltere'de doğan Picknett, York'ta perili olduğu iddia edilen bir evde büyüdü ve Park Grove Junior School ve Queen Anne Grammar School'a gitti. Üniversiteden İngiliz Edebiyatı 2.
